Earth Week 2016

Earth Week 2016 was a big success! Thank you everyone who participated in our events we appreciate your support.

On April 18th speaker Doug Cameron, a world known leader in agriculture and technology, visited UNI’s campus to speak about       and building growing technology based businesses.

On April 19th staff from the RRTTC, PIEER, community members, and UNI students got together to clean up an area of the Dry Run Creek.

On April 20th we hosted the annual Earth Day Fair Celebration outside Maucker Union. The booths were a big success and UNI mascots, TC and TK, even came out to support going green! We reached out to approximately 150 UNI students and community members, even with the rain!

On April 21st the RRTTC hosted a film screening of “Just Eat It” in the CEEE Auditorium. This film explored how much we, as a society, waste food and the effect on our environment.
