| The Iowa Children's Water Festival is an annual event featuring valuable knowledge and information from 60+ presenters and exhibitors. Every May over 2,000 fifth grade students from across Iowa will go to the DMACC campus in Ankeny to learn about all things water. With such a large event, it takes the work of many volunteers to ensure that all runs smoothly. Each year more than 200 volunteers are needed as class guides, classroom assistants, and more. | | | The ultimate goal of the Iowa Children's Water Festival is to provide students with the opportunity to learn about the importance of preserving and protecting Iowa's water resources. Purposely designed to teach from a fun and interactive perspective, students will want to integrate what they see and hear throughout the day into their daily lives. | | To learn more about the festival or how you can help, please contact Laura Ceretti at 515-283-8705 or
