The RRTTC is proud to recognize two of its employees, Junu Shrestha and Scotti Schon, for their exciting accomplishments!

Junu Shrestha is currently completing her Master's thesis in Environmental Health at the University of Northern Iowa and was recently awarded first place in the Graduate Student Symposium for her poster presentation. Junu's poster focuses on her thesis topic and is entitled, "Long-term, low dose exposure of people residing in arsenic affected areas of Iowa: A cross sectional analytic study." Her work focuses on biological monitoring of arsenic toxicity to the people consuming water from the private wells in Iowa. Water analysis, hair analysis and questionaire surveys were completed to explore relationships between different health impacts due to arsenic consumption, at or below the regulatory level via drinking water. Scotti Schon, a senior Public Relations major, was recognized as one of
Scotti Schon and Jenny Bruss at the
Employee of the Year Ceremony.
twenty-five Student Employees of the Year earlier this month. Scotti assists the RRTTC with office communications and outreach activities and was recognized by the university during National Student Employment Week April 8-12.
